This project features the design of a two-story apartment overlooking the marina, tailored for a large family. The overarching design concept is French Rococo infused with an Eastern touch of Chinoiserie, blending French elegance with Chinese cultural and decorative elements.
The majority of the apartment, especially the main and transitional areas, is adorned in the vibrant Hermès orange, creating a bold yet sophisticated ambiance. All wooden panels are finished in white with a crackle effect by Provasi, providing a refined and textured look.
The lavish use of wood and velvet wall upholstery contrasts strikingly with the crystal elements of Baccarat wall sconces and chandeliers, as well as with pieces featuring Venetian mirrors from Arte Veneziana. This combination creates a luxurious and opulent atmosphere throughout the apartment.
Spaces such as the kitchen and dining room are designed in a traditional Chinese color palette of red, black, and gold, paying homage to the rich cultural heritage. The walls are decorated with exquisite hand-painted de Gournay wallpapers, adding a touch of artistry and elegance.
This apartment is a harmonious blend of French Rococo and Eastern aesthetics, creating a unique and luxurious living space that is both opulent and culturally enriched, perfectly suited for the family's lifestyle and preferences.
