This project entailed the design of an executive office situated on the top floor of an office building. The office is uniquely oval-shaped, featuring panoramic glass walls that offer an expansive view of the surroundings.
The primary objective was to create an inviting, homelike atmosphere, as the client spends considerable time in the office and desired a space that felt like a second home. To achieve this, the design incorporates a palette of soft, light tones, enhancing the sense of warmth and comfort.
A key aspect of the design is the extensive use of wood with its natural texture, lending an organic, soothing touch to the space. All furniture pieces were carefully selected for their soft shapes and are upholstered in comfortable, tactile bouclé fabric, contributing to the overall sense of ease and relaxation.
The floor is adorned with a sisal carpet, which complements the natural aesthetic and adds a layer of texture to the interior. In contrast to the warm wood tones and soft lines of Giorgietti furnishings, certain elements of De Castelli furniture are crafted from thermally treated brass, introducing a refined, contemporary edge to the design.
This combination of materials and textures, from the natural wood and sisal to the luxurious bouclé and brass, creates a balanced, serene environment that resonates with the comfort of home while maintaining a professional elegance befitting an executive office.
